Lakatamia
TWINNING
Lakatamia is twined with three Greek Municipalities.
Alexandroupolis (1993), Kalymnos (1996) and Amarrousion (2008). Over the years, many reciprocal visits and exchanges took place amongst the three twinned Municipalities. Those visits were mainly based on various cultural events and their goal was to broader and deepen the scope of twinning and lead to an awareness of the richness and the multifacedness of the Greek civilization.
Such exchanges bring out the common elements of our three thousand year logn common culturel heritage.
